| dc.description.abstract | The development of information technology that is increasingly rapid from year to year, especially websites, has been widely implemented to various government and private agencies to facilitate the work process. One of them is school, in this case especially the school library which can be a reference source and learning tool for students. In this report, the library of Santha Theresia 1 Pangkalpinang Middle School is still carrying out data collection of members, books and the process of borrowing and returning books is still done manually, so there are frequent data errors, late reports and less than optimal service to members. The library information system that will be made is useful to minimize errors that have been so far. In system design using software development tools, namely the Unified Modeling Language (UML), the development model uses FAST (Framework for Application of System Thinking) and object-oriented methods. From this research, it is expected to produce a website-based library information system, namely E-Library, which can work optimally. At the last stage it can be concluded that this system is very helpful and facilitates librarians and improves service to members. And to add use values to this system, you can add several features that are not yet contained in the system reviewed at the end of the report. | en_US |
