MANAJEMEN BANDWIDTH RT/RW NET DESA SERDANG MEGGUNAKAN METODE HIERARCHICAL TOKEN BUCKET (HTB) PADA ROUTER BERBASIS MIKROTIK

Abstract

Rt / Rw Net in Serdang village was built with self-supporting to provide the necessity of local community with low-cost. However, there is difficulties with user bandwidth management resulting unbalanced bandwidth between clients which when used together. This research was made to solve these problems by implementing the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method and user manager in router wich is used on the Rt / Rw Net. This research studied the management of bandwidth usage in rt/rw net regarding different priority needs of costumer. These results indicate the method HTB successfully and able to perform bandwidth management according to the priorities of each client, so users do not have problems in the balance of bandwidth
