APLIKASI AKADEMIK BERBASIS SMS GATEWAY PADA SMA NEGERI 1 PUDING BESAR

Abstract

The development of communication technologies such as mobile phones have a lot of changes in the exchange of information. One of the services of communication technology devices that can be used to exchange information is SMS (Short Mesagge Service). Students in order to run the school with a good education also membutukan information relating to student academic information and school information. Accessing academic information still has some problems, which students must come directly to the school to find the information they need by looking at the school bulletin board or ask directly to the parties concerned, this is very detrimental to students in terms of time and cost. The aim of the thesis was to create a concept-based school information system SMS gateway that can facilitate students in accessing information from school school information system consists of several types of services, namely the concept of information value learning task, the value of midterms, final exams values; the value of student attendance, broadcast as well as suggestions for improvement of the information services of the school. Results of this service concept is that students can access academic information without having to come to school, simply by sending an SMS in accordance with the specified format, it will automatically be responded immediately by the system. So students can access the information from the school anytime and anywhere.
